JACKASS MT. breeds the best quality it can to provide a highly functional and beautiful moving PRE horse that will be able to compete in any discipline. The horses are raised on a 'range' enviornment in herds that give the horses a better beginning both phsically and emotionally. Young horses are pretty much left alone to mature as nature designs until they are ready for training. They are taught to be tied at a young age and will be clipped as weanlings, feet trimmed as necessary and branded at weaning. Colts are seperated from the herd at a year old and kept together until 3 years or late 2 yr. olds. Fillies on the other hand stay with the mares and other fillies. |
